Help Wanted – Part-Time Borough Manager

The Borough of Windber, Pennsylvania, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Part-Time Borough Manager.

This professional administrative position is responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of borough operations, including supervision of staff, implementation of council policies, budget assistance, grant administration, public relations, and oversight of municipal services, infrastructure, and projects.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess:

  • Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of municipal government operations
  • Experience with budgeting, personnel management, and project coordination
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Sewer systems
    • Stormwater management
    • Road maintenance and repair
    • Public works operations
  • Ability to work effectively with elected officials, employees, contractors, engineers, and the public
  • Proficiency with standard office and computer software

Prior municipal management experience and/or a degree in public administration, business administration, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Position Details
